By empowering law enforcement officers with detection skills, we're strengthening regional efforts to combat fraud and ensure safety for all against skilled document forgers. To expose them, law enforcement officers must be capable of identifying the tiniest detail, often invisible to the naked eye.
The ASEANAPOL Fraudulent Document Workshop just concluded, equipping participants with
essential skills to detect and combat document fraud, funded by United Kingdom National Crime Agency (ASEANAPOL’s Dialogue Partner since 2019) was delivered in the Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC), Semarang Indonesia from 19 to 21 March 2024.
The workshop was delivered competent specialist document examiners from United Kingdom to 36 law enforcement officers from ASEANAPOL Member Countries, namely: Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.
