On March 2, 2024, ASEANAPOL Executive Director David Martinez Vinluan warmly welcomed the 33 Philippine National Police Captains who are student officers undergoing the Public Safety Officers Advance Course (PSOAC) administered by the Philippine Public Safety College led by Dr. Alvin Q. Romualdo, MPSA Learning Manager-Davao Campus. The Public Safety Officers Advance Course (PSOAC) is a four-month training program for middle-level uniformed commissioned officers. The program is intended for officers with a minimum rank of Police Captains/Jail or Fire Senior Inspectors for promotion to the next higher ranks in their respective service bureaus.
Participating in an overseas educational tour can offer a multifaceted approach to learning that goes beyond the confines of traditional classroom settings, such as: Global Perspective; Cultural Exposure; Educational Enhancement; Networking Opportunities; Personal Growth; Career Advancement; Enhanced Creativity; Team Building; and Personal Enrichment.
ASEANAPOL Secretariat encourages this kind of endeavour as this is one of the 14 focus of ASEANAPOL: “Exchange of Personnel and Training Program”
“Together We Keep This Region Safe”
