On 22th August 2022, ASEANAPOL Secretariat received a visit by Mr. Sinan Cem Baş, Counsellor, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, Malaysia. He was warmly welcomed by the Executive Director of ASEANAPOL Secretariat, Pol. Brig. Gen. Zaw Lin Tun, Director for Plans and Programmes, Supt. Tang Yik Tung, Head of Administrative and Technical Staffs, Supt. Azrul Hisham bin Mohd Shaffei, and officers of the Secretariat.
The aim of the meeting is to establish and increase cooperation in bilateral training for ASEANAPOL Member Countries. The meeting went through with fruitful discussions that included upcoming Crime Intelligence Analysis Training hosted in October, 2022, future cooperation in conducting trainings for Cyber, Terrorism Issues and other crime areas concerned.
The ASEANAPOL Secretariat acknowledge TNP’s invitation to conduct the designed training specifically for ASEANAPOL Member Countries that certainly will nurture and strengthening AMC’s knowledge and certainly will enhance ASEANAPOL’s policing capabilities against cyber crime.
The meeting was successfully concluded at 12.30 PM and both sides noted to provide needful information in timely manner and look forward to build a good working relationship in future.
