The Executive Director of ASEANAPOL Secretariat, Pol. Colonel Kenechanch Phommachack paid a farewell courtesy call on the Inspector General of Royal Malaysia Police as his tenure of duty comes to an end.
Pol. Colonel Kenechanch Phommachack expressed gratitude to the Royal Malaysia Police for warm hospitality during his tenure in ASEANAPOL Secretariat and hoped that his successor, Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police Jim Wee will continue to foster close cooperation between the two organizations.
The visit was highlighted by a brief presentation of each other organizational mandate and how does it could help and assist each other goals, objective and possibly synchronize efforts in the pursuance of respective entities while was followed by a discussion on area of potential cooperation such as wildlife enforcement, illegal human trafficking and capacity building.
