The Ceremony of Handing and Taking Over Duties of Executive Director and Director for Police Services of ASEANAPOL Secretariat.
This historic event was held at the Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur on 13 January 2016 which saw the attendance of the Chief of Indonesia National Police, Police General Drs. Badrodin Haiti and Inspector-General of Royal Malaysia Police, Inspector-General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Khalid bin Abu Bakar.
Being the current chairman of ASEANAPOL, Police General Drs. Badrodin Haiti witnessed the handing and taking over duties of the Executive Director and Director for Police Services, ASEANAPOL Secretariat.
The outgoing Executive Director, SAC Pg. Dato Paduka Hj. Abd Wahab Pg. Hj. Omar handed over his duties to the new Executive Director Police Brigadier General Yohanes Agus Mulyono from the Indonesia National police whilst the outgoing Director for Police Services, ACP Mohamad Anil Shah Abdullah handed over his duties to Police Senior Superintendent Ferdinand Realtor Piedad Bartolome from the Philippines National Police. Both the director start their tenure at ASEANAPOL Secretariat commencing from 1st of January 2016.
The event also saw the attendance of senior police officers from The Royal Malaysia Police, Indonesia National Police, representatives from the embassies of ASEANAPOL member countries, dialogue partners, and regional entities. The members from the media were also present during the event.
