ASEANAPOL Explores Technology to Strengthen the Fight Against Transnational Crime

On 18 September 2026, the ASEANAPOL Secretariat visited ClearTrail Technologies in New Delhi, India, to explore advanced technologies that could strengthen regional law enforcement capabilities against transnational crime, particularly scams and technology-enabled crime.

The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Manohar Katoch, Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of ClearTrail Technologies. With more than 500 personnel, the company develops intelligence and analytical software for law enforcement and national security.

During the visit, both sides exchanged views on technologies for data analysis, criminal network identification and intelligence-led investigations. These capabilities are relevant to ASEANAPOL’s ongoing development of its regional law enforcement database and information-sharing platforms, aimed at strengthening cooperation among the 11 ASEANAPOL Member Countries.

The engagement reflects ASEANAPOL’s action-oriented approach to working with technology partners to turn data into intelligence, intelligence into action, and action into results.
