ASEANAPOL Anti-Scam Study Visit EP.08 | Learning Along the Journey — Four Airports, Two Countries

The Study Visit was not limited to Anti-Scam Centres and meeting rooms. The journey itself also became part of the learning experience.

In Thailand, participants experienced two different airports — arriving through Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and later departing from Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) for Malaysia.

The journey continued in Malaysia with another two airport experiences — arriving at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang/SZB) and later departing for Singapore through Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Within just a few days, the delegation experienced four different airports across Thailand and Malaysia, providing another perspective on regional connectivity, travel infrastructure and the movement of people across ASEAN.

From BKK to DMK, Subang to KLIA, every stage of the journey added another experience before the 36 participants continued together to Singapore for the final chapter of the Study Visit.

Learning happens not only at our destinations, but throughout the journey.
