ASEANAPOL Anti-Scam Study Visit EP.01 | A Warm ASEAN Welcome to Thailand

The journey begins.

Delegates arrived in Bangkok for the ASEANAPOL Study Visits on Anti-Scam Centre Practices in ASEAN, bringing together 36 participants from ASEAN Member States, SOMTC and national police agencies, together with ASEANAPOL Secretariat, ASEAN Secretariat, INTERPOL, UNODC, Japan and the Republic of Korea.

With the warm welcome and support of the Royal Thai Police, participants were received at the airport and warmly welcomed and well taken care of throughout their arrival, before checking in at the Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, where the delegation was comfortably accommodated and well hosted.

With everyone safely settled in, the delegation was ready to begin the five-day regional learning journey across Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
