ASEANAPOL Explores Anti-Scam Cooperation with BCAMP

On 22 September 2026, Dr. Kongkrissada Kittithiraphong, Executive Director of the ASEANAPOL Secretariat, held an online discussion with Ms. Anita Dodds, Coordinator of the Digital/Cyber-Scam Curriculum of the Border Control ASEAN Management Program (BCAMP), supported by the Australian Department of Home Affairs.

The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation against scams through immigration and border-control officers, including the development of practical systems, information sharing, and joint capacity-building activities.

Both sides agreed to explore further cooperation, including ASEANAPOL’s engagement in BCAMP 36 in Hanoi on 19–20 November 2026 and the development of future joint anti-scam initiatives.
