6th INTERPA Conference, "Drug Issue And New Approaches In Combating Drugs"

ASEANAPOL Secretariat represented by it's Director for Plans and Programmes, ACP Aidah Othman and DSP for Police Services, DSP Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz attended the 6th INTERPA Conference themed "Drug Issue and New Approaches in Combating Drugs" held in Girne, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus from 28-30 April 2017.







The 3 day event saw representatives representing 24 Countries and Institutions convened and discussed current methodologies and approach with regards in combating Drugs.



This prestigious event was officiated by the Prime Minister of TRNC, Mr. Huseyin Ozgurgun and preceded by a speech by the President of INTERPA, Mr. Yilmuz Colak. During his speech, he emphasised on the importance of cooperation with regional and international institutions and appreciated the participation of ASEANAPOL Secretariat and reiterated the importance of INTERPA having collaboration with such entities to create a more peaceful and secure world.
