Visit by Mr Anton Revutskii, Deputy Head of the Russian Embassy and Mr Maxim Chernyshev, 1st Secretary of the Political section of the Russian Embassy.

On 9 March 2017, the Secretariat received a working visit by Mr Anton Revutskii, Deputy Head of the Russian Embassy and Mr Maxim Chernyshev, 1st secretary of the Political section of the Russian Embassy. They were warmly welcomed by the Executive Director (ED) of ASEANAPOL Secretariat, Brig. Gen. YohanesAgusMulyono, Director for Plans and Programmes (DPP), ACP Aidah Othman and officers.



During the visit, Mr. Anton, on behalf of the Russian Federation extended their invitation to ASEANAPOL to participate in a specialised workshop on “The Use of Special Skills in the Detection and Investigation of Crimes in the Sphere of Information Technologies” in Voronezh Institute of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation. For record, the Russian Federation offered a training/workshop annually to ASEANAPOL since being elevated to ASEANAPOL Dialogue Partner.





As the discussion going on, ED explains how the ASEANAPOL works in combating transnational crimes. ASEANAPOL is a platform for its Member Countries to share information, intelligence, and expertise and to develop capacity building. The DPP then further share her view on the possibilities to co-organise training by utilising the existing training centre in the region to gain more participation from Member Countries.
